About Us

We as a team are working for technologies development for hearing impaired people. We are working on the translation technologies from spoken languages to Indian Sign Languages.

The Indian Railways Announcement System in Indian Sign Language (ISL) is being developed under the Leadership of Dr. Vishal Goyal, Professor, Department of Computer Science, Punjabi University, Patiala and Dr. Lalit Goyal, Associate Professor, D.A.V. College, Jalandhar.

This project is funded by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India under the Scheme Research on Disability Related Technology, Products and Issues.

This announcement system would display the announcements in Indian Sign Language (ISL) which would be beneficial to hearing impaired community while at the railways stations.
